-Philanthropy All of us here at TCI believe stongly in giving back to the community. Over the course of a year, we donate time and money in many different ways: TCI has a PHILANTHROPY COMMITTE , through which we donate to causes espoused by our staff. Any member who has a charity he or she strongly believes in can submit a request to the committe. In the past, we have donated to many causes including the AIDS RIDE, INNER CITY ARTS PROGRAM, MOORPARK SCHOOL DISTRICT, BLACK DATA PROCESSING ASSOCIATES (BDPA), AND NICKERSON GARDENS SAGE CENTER. As a company, we participate in the REVLON BREAST CANCER RUN/WALK. We match employee contributions when disasters occur throughout the world. We have done this for 9/11, the tsunami in Thailand, and Hurricane Katrina, among others. Every Christmas, we adopt several families through Beyond Shelter and play Santa Claus. We contribute when our staff, candidates or clients raise sponsorship funds for the various activities in which they participate.
